  1. get a job.

  2. Let her know you are responsible and trust worthy by getting good grades and starting to look for a job :) along the way have fun!!

  3. I probably should not tell you this but your mom doesn't know me so I will,

You see the truth is your mother is jealous yes JEALOUS you have everything going for you right now and maybe you don't realize it but your mother feels she is getting older and her life is going nowhere further .

I will agree you should have a job, everyone needs more cash, and if you want to have fun you need cash, you want to move out , go to college you need cash. many people have jobs or part time jobs their senior year and still manage their classes. If you don't wish to get a job yet then work something out with your mom so you can do more around the house even if you don't earn cash you could earn free time or other privileges, later curfew, out of town trips, whatever you want.

It is time to accept more responsibilities and to show that you are ready for the world on your own.

Oh yeah don't tell your mom I said she was getting old but do keep that in mind and try to make her life a bit more enjoyable . GOOD LUCK

  4. My mother and I had a similar relationship the year of my senior year of high school. Just tell her how this makes you feel. Make sure you explain not yell or whine. Try to handle it in a mature fashion for your age. She's probaly just afraid for you and dosen't want to admit it. Explain to her how you feel that your school work is stressful and maybe she would allow you part time or no job at all. Hope this was helpful. sincerely Louise

  5. just blow her mind and get passed all your classes! then bounce. just graduate first (its a tough world and im sure she want the best for you.) your almost there just finish up and move on!! good luck!! if you did that stuff what could she do??

  6. suck it up - get a job - be a responsible adult.

when you are paying your own bills for a roof over your head and food on your table, you then have a right to complain about your mom nagging --- her nagging will save your butt in the future!

  7. Wait one more year.

  8. get a job, this way you will spend less time at home.

beside you'll have some money save when you're ready to move out.

  9. Just tell here you love here. She may back off some :)

  10. Because she cares about you. And you can have fun, no matter who is watching. It's rather suspicous that you want her off your back, you must be doing something you don't want her to know about.

  11. Make a list of all the things your mother says or does that is stressing you out, and then take the list to her and tell her you need to talk to her. Inform her that you are aware that prices are rising, and you appreciate her efforts in providing you a home, clothing, food, and whatever, but you must focus on school. Let her know how important school is to you, especially your final year. Tell her that you have enough pressure on you making sure your grades are good and getting ready for Senior activities.

If she still does not listen, ask her how would she feel in the same situation. Good luck and Congratulations on your Senior Year

  12. Well if your a senior you already should have a job..

But i was in the same situation as you when i was a senior.

All i wanted to do was have fun since it was my last year of school, but my parents never layed off.

Finally i started to do simple stuff around the house to help them out and make extra money.

Money for fun of course, helping family and friends pays off in the end.

  13. hahaha, dont worry. it will all be over soon!

shes just sad that her baby has grown up too fast and because your going to leave her soon. she loves you, and wants you to become the best person possible. all mothers are like that :)

  14. Most seniors have jobs so they can save up money to save themselves from another year of what you are dealing with. As a senior yes you need to pass all your classes, but it doesn't take that much focus to do that you can have fun, work hard, and get a job.

  15. SHOW HER YOUR RESPONSIBLE

  16. simple solution: you should have a job so you can start saving up to move out and be mom free

  17. you might just wanna tell her how you feel... you could also show some more responsibility(sorry i cant spell if thats wrong) and she will see how you can can take care of yourself
