How do i get my mum to buy me make up..e.g eyeliner etc

i have a lot of blemishes and thats after spots already

until now i haven't used any make up,i use concealer now but every girl has AT LEAST an eyeliner don't they? (im 14) just to use occasionally when u wanna look nice,but my mum keeps moaning that theres not point ,how can i explain to her that i really really want one:/

oh and if i say im a lil more grown up than a baby then she will try making me do all these hard adult jobs and going overboard with my words;/

Okay first apply a face primer all over your face (www.sephora.com)

Then I would apply a foundation to your skin, I would suggest this foundation, from Clinique, because it actually improves your skin! :

If your "mum" will not buy you cosmetics, work for it. You can earn the money yourself! But don't beg her, just tell her I think it's time I start wearing make-up, my skin is breaking out and I need just some make-up to cover it up!

Well- not every girl at 14 has makeup. unfortunetly you are still young enough where what your mom says goes. i would stick to what she will allow-- give it a year or so and try again. i wasnt allowed to wear makeup until i was 16 and now im 20 and i look back and realize it was no big deal

just tell her you wont wear a lot just a little to show more beauty

naaaah, you dont need eyeliner. i agree with your mum. eyeliner looks S****y on anyone under 16 i reckon. maybe you could get some mascara instead? it looks WAY nicer on young girls, itll open up your eyes and make them beautiful, which is WAY better than s**y coz its more rare.

if you really really want an eyeliner (eew) then maybe ask your mum for a light brown eyeliner instead of black. explain to her it will look softer and more natural, and maybe she will let you.

but seriously, dont worry about it. most 14 yr olds i know hate eyeliner, too hard to get it perfect and if you dont it looks stupid. takes too long, and your so young, it gives off the wrong signal. it says to guys "im trying too hard, sleep with me PLEASE!".

go for the mascara. easier, prettier, better :-)

I had the same problem! I'm fourteen and I wear makeup now, but when I was thirteen I wasn't allowed. I got so upset because all my friends were wearing it and I felt left out. Eventually I just went to the dollar store and bought an eyeliner and foundation. I basically started wearing it after that! My mom complained and sometimes asked me to wash it off, so I slowly progressed from lip gloss and eyeshadow to eyeliner and mascara. It worked for me, but it really depends on your mom. If you just sit down and talk to her then keep reminding her of your makeup desire over about a six month period of time, it will show her it's not just a phase and you're dedicated to it. I hope it works out (really, I know what it's like!).

Say you will only use it for special occasions ex. family get togethers, parties...but actually wear everyday.

When you out at the mall or a shopping center with your friends or someone besides ur mom just buy an eyeliner or whatever makeup u wanted. Then start to wear it. if you wear the makeup lightly enough she may just start to get use to it andrealizee that you look nice that way. That is basically what happened with me! hope this helps!
