How do i get my muscles bigger?

Im a 15 year guy who wants to get bigger arms and six pack abs by only doing stuff at home. i need to know what workouts i should do to get the muscles bigger and how many reps i should do and what i should eat before and after i workout.

  1. You cannot get too carried away about size if you are 15 especially if you are underweight. Six packs only show up if you are super-lean. The way to get larger is to look up diet facts for body builders, just for starters.Concentrate on gaining weight, getting cardiovascular fitness and then go to weight training. You need to start working on the big muscles of your body before worrying about your arms. Train your legs with squats holding small weights at your sides to get used to the form. Get a buddy who does bodybuilding to help you. Dead-lifts are a huge muscle builder. Most guys at 15 lack muscle maturity and don't development very fast for the amount of time they spend on exercises. Working your arms needs to wait until you can master big exercises that develop your trunk, back and legs.

    Leave the arms and abs till you have some knowledge. The arms will start to grow because you are stimulating them with big exercises.

    A used book store is a good source of bodybuilding books and you don't need a gym or fancy stuff

  4. There are several exercises you can do at home for abs and arms.

    Pushups (and weighted pushups) are good.  I have even used a backpack with rocks in it on accasions where no weights were available.  Or a kid on your back will work to (if he can sit still long enough).

    Crunches and situps are good for abs.  To intensify these, hang by your knees from a bar and do them from that position.

    Now as for diet.  After a workout when your muscles are recouperating is when you need protein the most.  So a protein shake, or some food rich in protein should be eaten right after a workout.

    Try to avoid mcdonald and similar fast food places.  Those foods are garbage.  Junk food...candies and such are not good either.

    A good healthy diet will help you tremendously.
