All radio stations have a submission policy.  It's best if you hire a promotion company because you are more apt to have your music added to terrestrial radio stations.  Radio Promoters have established a rapport with the Program Directors and often have an "in" with them.  There are plenty of internet radio stations that are "indie" oriented.  Best of Luck to you.  I always root for the underdog indies!!

Most radio stations have special programming featuring local artists, and community, non-profit, and college stations cater to unsigned musicians, so there are still plenty of options if you want to get your music out there
