How do i get my natural color back?

2 days ago i dyed my hair black and ABSOLUTELY HATED IT. i decided to try color oops and it turned it kind of orangey reddish brownish? i mean its better than black but i was wondering if i was to dye over it with a dark brown would it become dark brown? im so sick of dying my hair and i just want to go back to my natural color =/ help

Yeah you know that saying?  Once you go black.. you know the rest.  It's true about hair colour, I don't know about the other thing.  But if you want your natural colour back you might want to go to a professional.  They're going to have to do some wacky fun things like stripping again, maybe toning out the yellow/orange, and then eventually dye your hair back to it's original colour, or as close as they can get.

You actually can't strip a colour out of your hair and poof! it's back to normal.  You'll have to dye it as close as you can get to the natural colour.

There isn't much you can do with black.  A salon will recommend you wait a while so that your hair can recover, then they will strip the color and dye it close to what your natural color was - or some other color you choose but you can not take care of this yourself, at home!

hmmm :\ sounds rough, i dont know if dying it again is a good idea...

maybe you can just leave it a couple days how it is, maybe youll get used to it... thats what happened when i dyed my hair like last month, i got used to it after a couple of days. if not, then i guess i would go to a professional and see what they say! : )

I did this too.

I had to go to the salon and have my hair "stripped" and bleached.

It costed a bit but not too much.

It took a long time and the girls were afraid to do it !

They're going to tell you that you made a silly mistake.

someone could strip your hair of the coloring

quit dying it until your sure that's the color you want!
