How do i get my new shirts not to fade when i wash them

Question

Like everytime i have a new shirt with a cool design from Pac Sun and i wash it the black parts always fade (get little fuzzy lint stuff) and so dose the rest of the shirt a little bit.

So how can i wash them with out getting the fuzzy things on it that makes it fade???

wash it by hand and dry them in the sun.. the dryer makes clothes fade much quicker.

If you don't want to wash by hand, wash in cold water and air dry, in or outdoors.  You can also use laundry detergent specially formulated to help keep colors true.

they lady @ Tommy Hilfiger told me to rinse my clothes in the sink with vinigar and water and then wash with regular clothes!

Turn the shirt inside out.  Wash with similar colors.  Use a detergent with color guard.  Use cold water whenever possible.

Wash on cold-gentle ...hang dry.  Also, Woolite works great to stop the fading and pilling.

add 1 cup white vinegar to the wash
