How do i get my pages to open bigger?

I had to get my computer overhauled recently,unfortunatly now when i open a page ,ie like yahoo or google the page is very small and i have to click maximize,i know it's not the end of the world but.....

are the icons smaller as well?

try right clicking on the desktop, select properties,

this brings up the display properties dialogue

then select the settings tab

in the bottom left there's a slider control that adjusts the screen resolution

move it to the left till you find one that's comfortable
