How do i get my parents to let me have snake bites?

okay so, im a mature and responsible daughter. no lies. also, im doing this for myself not for anyone else or w/e. so in case your wondering...

and im sixteen, and i want to get snake bites. no im not emo or goth, im just myself and i would really like to get them.

so how can i ask my parents if i can get them?

hmm, i was sorta thinking of barganing with them. like if i get all a's an b's by the end of the semester sort of thing, anyway. please help me on this.

scrape up your allowance. then tell your mom that you are paying for it.

and with the leftover money buy her a special gift.

hmm...sounds like me and my belly button ordeal.

well, they probably wont say yes the first time, but keep pleading your case. tell them you really want them as an expression of who you are. that you will clean them, pay for it, etc. when's your birthday? i turn 17 in november, so that's the tactic im going with...

if they absolutely say no, then start wearing fake lip rings around the house. since they're not real, they can't really say anything, can they? get them used to seeing you with snake bites. then try asking again, though not too soon. acclimate them.

if all else fails, well, there's always your 18th birthday, right?

Research safe parlours to get it done at, pictures of exactly what you want and some stories on peircings gone wrong, show them what you have found and tell them how you will prevent your peircings from infections and tell them where you plan on getting them done.

Come up with a good argument, tell them all the reasons why the would be opposed to the idea and give them your resolutions :) it works great!
