  1. Find out why they're saying no.

Maybe they're worried you won't really take care of it.

If you can't talk them into it, maybe start by showing them you can take care of a smaller pet?

  2. Look the thing with parents are they dont really think that we are responsible enough to take care of pets but you have to prove them wrong and they will say yes I promise

  3. Well, ask them for a ferret and tell them that you are more than willing to pay for them yourself. Give them time to think about it, but make sure that they are listening to you.

  4. Prove to them you're responsible by buying everything for the ferrets, setting up their equipment, and taking care of them without your parents noticing.

Then, two weeks later, show them the ferrets and tell them you've had them for all this time and their fine.

Also tell them to just get used to the smell because it's not going away.

    At All.

  5. well there are also a bad side of ferrets. My dad had four and it was horrible.

    1. they steal things

    2. they love everything that is shiny

(they stole my moms wedding ring)

    3.they smell terrible

4.they hate most everyone except the people that play with them the most.

    5. they attacked my dogs

  6. wow! you really are devoted to this cause! if you want some ferrets that much and it's your OWN money try to reason with your parents. Tell them why you want a ferret and don't just say "cuz they're cute" or something. really, really try to come up with a great reason why your  house needs ferrets. if you promise to take care of them and stuff how can they say no? maybe you should do something first to show them that you're responsible. clean around the house without being asked, help your parents when they ask (the first time!) and don't ever sit around and do nothing because they hate that! heres an idea: make a poster with all the reasons you want a ferret and draw or print out an incredibly cute picture of a ferret and they'll have to say yes! tell them ferrets are endangered or something and just show them you're truly devoted and will do anything to get these ferrets! if they come up with a really good reason you cant have them, then dont whine or act annoying try to reason with them like if they say "They will stink up the house" say "I'll give them a bath every day and buy air freshener and clean up their messes" if they say "It's too much money to buy the ferrets, plus a cage, plus the food, etc." say "I promise I will be responsible enough and will get the money for all of them. They will be MY ferrets not yours you dont even have to look at them!" or something! you get it right? dont give up!

  7. Parents have to know that you would be able to care for the ferrets.

  8. just bring the ferret home. they can't say no that way

  9. you need to convice to you parents that you are resposible to take care of  ferrets. pets are a lots of work. you parents may not want a ferrets because they stink, but guinea pigs are kind of like ferret but the are alot easer to take care of.

  10. tell your parents of all the positive things about ferrets...try to put the guilt trip on them. try to make it seem as if ferrets are your life. i love animals and i know from personal experience that it's amazing to have them around the house. they bring life and fun and responsibility. i hope you can get a ferret companion. good luck :)

  11. hey i have 2 ferrets, they arnt hard work, u gotta keep the cage cleaned and make sure they have plenty the play with lol but its not bad at all, my ferrets are in the same cages so they have another to play with, but you need to make sure you let them out as much as you can, and get them used to people and other animals and whatever, my ferrets roam the house and even sometimes they run around in the yard when we are out there.i would start with one though, get used to it, ease into, then if you want another, there you go, just talk to your parents, assure them that you can do it, but dont be pushy, dont get mad at them give them time, your friend trish

  12. Make a poster on the positive things on you having a ferret! And tell her you'll take full responsability.

If she says no try to make a reasoning with her for maybe a later time.

  13. i used to want ferrets cuz they r so cute but then we got 2 of them and they stink n r nasty. no matter how many baths they got they still stunk and we even got a spray 4 them to help their sent didn't work! they chew stuff up we had a huge cage 4 them 2 but they always wanted out n would hide they even made holes in one of our box spring n would go in n not come out we potty trained them 2 a litter box n they took to it but then Lil by Lil they stopped us in it like we never taught them any thing. they attract flies worse than dogs also
