  1. Feeding a bird gravy is not a good idea. Gravy is too rich, and some recipes use milk, which is bad for birds. If you want to give her something with meat in it then just give her a little bit of plain cooked chicken.

The best way to get your 'tiel to eat white rice is to give her just that: plain, cooked white rice, with nothing else on it. Give her a little bit of it, maybe place it near her food dish, and let her do what she wants for 5-10 minutes. Then take it out again. The only way you can "get" a bird to eat something is if they decide to try it for themselves, although you can set a good example by eating some of it yourself in front of the bird, maybe telling her how good it is; cockatiels are flock animals and 'tiel owners are often able to get their bird to try new things just by trying it themselves. Praise her if she tries some, even if she doesn't actually eat it. Praise her even more if she does eat some.

As was said, it is not a good idea to feed a cockatiel gravy, or anything high in fat, sugar, or salt.

  3. Mash, rice, broccoli, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrot, hard steamed, boiled egg plus the shell  & all mashed together.

My cockatiel loves it when it's warmed up for him for dinner.

Jasmine, wild & brown rice is better than white rice but white rice is fine.
