  1. You need to lay down the law. Put him in a kennel or put up a gate so he's enclosed. He'll whine and cry but you can't give in or he will forever control you. It'll be better for you both in the end.

  2. i had the same problem with my dog. I think the best thing to do is get him used to the crate and you don't care if he cries. It's going to take him some time to get used to it but it's the best thing to do. I did it with my dog and we both happy now =) He loves it. Don't forget to put one of your shirts (not clean) inside the crate.

  3. everytime he goes in your bed just pick him up and put him in his it might take along time but he will get tired of it and stay in hhis own bed

  4. I suggest crate training him. Don't just put him in a crate though. Follow simple steps let him get comfortable with the crate so he will feel comfortable with it and think of it as a good place and not a place of punishment. This should help. He will cry and whine and its okay to comfort him while he is in his crate but don't give in or he will know who is boss, and that wont be you.

  5. Be stern and keep putting the puppy back in his own bed, tell the puppy stay and walk away.  Every time it follows say Ahah and put it back again.  Repitition and lots of it.

You will spoil your puppy otherwise and spoilt dogs are not as much fun as a trained dog in my opinion.

You should probably enrol in a training class so that in the future will know how to train your dog to do what you want it to do .

Good Luck with your puppy and remember be strong :)

  6. I know this might sound like a smart alic  answer, but just don't hold him.  He gets used to you holding him and that's where your problem lies.  Puppies are like babies, in a way.  When they get held often, they expect it all the time.  Just put him in his bed, make him stay there, pet him until he goes to sleep if you have to.  It might take a few nights, but he'll get the hang of it.  Good luck with your new puppy.

  7. put him in a cate and ignore him. I know that sounds harsh but it is the only way he will learn the sleeping rules. just put on your headphones to block out the crying

  8. You just have to keep putting him back in his own bed.  It will be a week or more before he gets the idea that that is his bed and that's where he needs to sleep, so be prepared for a few sleepless nights.

  9. Tough love. Crate train him. He will whine and cry for a few nights, but he will get use to it. After, when it's time for bed, he will go right in his crate.
