  1. I totally agree with Rats and Cats' answer. I am also assuming that the cabinet is attached to the wall. If so, I would suggest to cut a long piece of cardboard and cut it about the width of the space between the cabinet and the wall. Slide it in the space above Eva and slide it down gently. She'll most likely crawl out because she doesn't know what's touching her! If that doesn't work, kinda shift the end of the cardboard close to the wall and curve it, then pull it towards you. She'll be scooped out and you can simply grab her and put her in the cage! If the cabinet is movable, simply move the cabinet and grab her. If none of the above work, you can grab some type of container or something and put it up to the hole. Put a pile of cheese, peanut butter, or rat food mix in the container. Leave it there for a couple of minutes or so and she'll crawl out and you can just pick up the container and you'll have her! I hope you get her out and sorry for these stupid suggestions! :] Good luck!

Alsooo: Rodents have a special power to collapse their bones. That's how they get under doors and what not! :]

  2. try to catch her with a pair of tongs when she pops her head out. be VERY careful not to harm her, but from the other questions you have answered, i think you will have no problems with harming her.

if this doesn't work, try putting food further away from the hole, to force her out in the open, then put something in front of the hole as soon as she is out, then catch her. i hope this helps, and i hope you get your rat back.

  3. call the fire fighters

  4. Wow, that's a tough one!

Keep trying with the treats. Also, set her cage in front of the whole with really good treats in there, such as a chocolate chip, some cooked brown rice, and other yummy stuff. (Chocolate is okay for rats, as long as it is given sparingly. It's a great, special treat.)

I'm assuming the cabinet is attached to the wall? If not, try to move it.

Make clicking noises with you mouth, hold treats in front of the hole, and do your best to convince her out. When her body is more than half way out, grab her. (Try to do it as gently as possibly)

I really hope you get her out of there! Good luck!!!

P.S. If the situation gets dire, you can make the hole bigger where it is easier to pull her out.

  5. stick her empty cage full of treats in view of the hole so she can see it and add some string so when you pull it and the door closes

sit as far back and out of view as possible and little ratty WILL (fingers crossed) go back to bed and you pull the string and yey

    hope this helps:)
