  1. well im 14 and well i would defenetaaly clean up for

    maybe money

    a game

like go out to eat like fast food retaurant

somethign to reward him kind of after he does it

  2. tell  him true things that will happen rats mice and roaches will start to come and when he goes to sleep they will be all over him

  3. Tell him you will give him some money per week, or buy a game, or take him somewhere if he does it regular.

  4. Because if you have to clean up it will be with a trash bag, and everything will go into it.

  5. You didn't say how old your son is but when my children were small and just learning the responsibility of cleaning up their rooms themselves 1st I explained what was expected, then I would give them a reasonable time limit and set a timer, when the timer went off, whatever wasn't picked up by them got picked up by me. It went into a trash bag and put away for 2 weeks. They learned pretty quickly to clean their rooms when I told them to, whether they wanted to or not. I hope this helps. Good luck.

  6. Well, you didn't say how old he is but here are a couple of ideas.  If he makes an income (like a part-time job etc.) you can do what I did.  I cleaned his room and bathroom and kept track of my time.  Then I charged him for it.

If he is younger and earns an allowance you can put his allowance in a jar where it is visible, say 7 one dollar bills ($1 for each day he does his cleaning/chores).  Then let him know that every day you have to do his cleaning you will take one of the dollars out of the jar and he will see his money disappearing.
