How do i get my tamagotchi to marry?

I have read the instruction booklet and i don't know how to get my Tamagotchi to marry.

Well it depends on what version you have. If you have a version thats lower than version 5, that means that it can't marry until its 6 years old. When its 6 the matchmaker will show and give your tamagotchi a partner to marry with. So the matchmaker comes by itself.

If you have the version 5, you have to wait until your tamagotchi is an adult. When its an adult you have to wait 2 FULL days until it can finally get married. After that, to get it married you have to go the the 8th icon (the tv icon) and select DATING SHOW. You will then need to select one of your tamagotchis to get married and then pick your tamagotchi's partner. They will then get married and have kids.
