  1. Ok, what discs does it record to ? dvd's ? or internal hard disks ? Also, what camera and what computer do you have ?

Sometimes you'll find that it's as easy as drag and drop, but not sure how your camera records, so i can't help you more...

  2. The best thing to do is to either remove the DVD from the camcorder (remember to finalize it first) and then pop it into the computer drive. Or you can connect a USB cable to the computer and use the software that comes with the cam to transfer your movie clips to the PC. Try Pinnacle Videospin, this will work with DVD camcorder clips and it's pretty good.

  3. You need to finalise the DVD in the camcorder and place it in your PC's DVD drive.  If you've got decent video editing software it'll be able to copy and edit the files.  If you're using WMM you'll need to copy the files with DVDDecrypter and then convert them to WMV with Super.

  4. you definitely need a supporting fire wire & a software to help you in this. I don't think it would be possible w/o that. Alternatively & this might sound foolish as you already could be doing this, you can use your dvds on comp.
