  1. Take your question to your local Jobcenter +. They will assist you.

  2. It depends on how much you are owed but I should imagine it is probably an amount that can be recovered through the County Court (also known as the "Small Claims Court").

You should first make every effort to get the money you are owed before going to the court. You should telephone and write to them if you can, and keep records of this. You should also write down exactly how much you worked and at what rate and how much you are owed. Any other documentation like a contract would help.

If you cannot get the money you should go to your nearest county court and get a form which you fill in to start the process. There's a small fee to pay to submit the form. The court staff will then advise you on the process. You can also - I believe - make the claim on-line.

If you need impartial and free help/advice you can go to your local Citizen's Advice Bureau who are always good.

    Good luck.

  3. Go down there, and demand to see him/her. Then give them a mouth full and refuse to leave unless you get your money... after you get let out of jail, you might be able to mount a solid court case against them, and hit em' hard the legal way

  4. write to them asking for money and give a date. if the money does not arrive use Acas and a tribunal - its a free service.

  5. small claims court

  6. Let them know that under employers law act they are obliged to pay you for all hours worked. Failure to do so could render them in court. Advise that if they dont make payment within 7 days then you will serve a court summkons to them via the small claims court. If they dont then you file your action online on the appropriate site then they will have 28 days in which to respond. If they dont respond a court hearing will be arranged and they will be sued for your wages and costs plus interest at 4%. If they dojn't show up, you immediately win.
