  1. plug the 360 into  audio visaul in plugs on the back of the dhome theatre syteme or aux

  2. Run an audio output cable from the TV to the DVD speaker system, select Line 1/Line 2 on the sound system to receieve the signal thru the speakers.

  3. the white and red are for sound, so plug them 2 into your dvd player =]

  4. run the 360 through the dvd player

  5. run the 360 to the dvd unit instead of the telly

  6. According to the Sony manual, the DZ230 only has digital media in and SCART TV-in. On reading the manual, it should be posible to connect the Xbox via a component to SCART adapter, PS2's came with one, but I don't know about xbox,  they are available to buy.

Connect that to the DVD via SCART-TV in and select the DVD remote function button to TV, that may just do the trick.

I did consider buying the DZ230 but was put off by it's very limited connectivity.

If you've lost the DVD instruction manual, it is available via Sony UK's website.
