How do i get myself noticed, and sell myself (ideas) to the right people?

Currently i have a huge idea for the automotive industry that can be implemented for the better of drivers in terms of safety. The problem is, I'm a person with many good ideas, without any final product due to funds, time, resources and detailed knowledge. Just ideas, no knowledge! I'm hoping for some big company to 'adopt' me to produce my ideas in return by giving me good incentives and some share of profit of the outcome of my ideas. I don't mind going overseas to produce my ideas with the company. Something like 'America's next Inventor' (Is it right?) Sounds silly and naive, but I'm a believer! Who wants to 'own' me?

unfortunately, ideas are easy to steal or give away. As soon as you speak your idea, any big corporation can claim that they came up with the idea themselves. If you just want recognition, perhaps you can write articles for an automotive magazine.
