  1. They make special bits for removing stripped screws just go to any hardware store and pick one up.

  2. Is it rusted?  You could try some WD40 to loosen it up first.  Let it sit for a bit to loosen up the screws.  Also, if there's residual salt, it sometimes dries and hardens, taking a little more effort to remove.  I assume that it's nearly impossible to access the s***w head, so you might have to get a specialty screwdriver/screwdriver head.  Most home improvement stores will probably have it.  (Lowes, Home Depot, etc.)  You could also check any hardware store.

Just tell them you need to take out a stripped s***w.  The head of the screwdriver I believe has more smaller teeth usually.  There are other ways to take it out, but it could damage your board.

  3. Use an Easy-out s***w extractor.  Snowboard binding screws are usually loctited in, use a little heat (a blow dryer will do) to ease the removal.

  4. After you remove it, if you damage the thread in the board, you can use a thing called a helicoil to restore the stripped out thread.

  5. hi. depending on how bad and the position of the s***w is how you can tackle the problem, you don't need to buy a s***w/stud remover, if you can access the top of the s***w with a hacksaw you can cut a new slot into it for a flathead screwdriver, if not and it is a phillips drive you can get a flat head into it depending on how badly stripped, or you can stick the screwdriver in and hit it with a hammer as you press down and turn to shock it loose, or drill the top off the s***w then remove the binding and use pliers to remove the studs. just take your time the main thing is patients

  6. use a grabit.
