  1. Don't worry, you are not alone in these feelings. Almost everyone feels left out at times or in situations where they just do not feel comfortable in their own skin.

There are a few different things you can try at home: breathing exercises, yoga, meditations, and calming music. Believe it or not, these things can help you overcome your anxiety. It took me a long time, but I was able to do it. Check out my site: http://www.myanxietyresource.com

  2. I'm just like you. i looked back in my past to see what went wrong and what separates my upbringing from the upbringing of others and i realize that the main factor i was missing was big muscles. thats right i am the weakest of all my friends and have been my whole life thats why I'm gonna start working out to build muscle. i suggest you do the same if you are also weak. my confidence is so low that i don't even have it at all. and i have no self esteem whats so ever.

  3. It sounds like you have a social anxiety disorder or social phobia. You didn't give enough information for me to know if you have paranoid symptoms, like you avoid other people because you think they are out to get you, etc. Some people are just naturally shy, and sometimes the label of social phobia is put on them too quickly. but since you are bothered by this and want to get over the problem then you might consider counseling by a qualified professional. Your best bet is one who specializes in cognitive-behavioral methods. Since you have low self esteem and a low sense of self worth then you probably will not be able to get over this by yourself. The best way to get over any fear is to desensitize yourself. This means breaking the fear of being with people in to steps with each getting closer and closer to your desired goal of feeling comfortable enough around at least a few close friends. A counselor can not only help you do a better job of doing this but may also help you get some medication for a start. The psychologist I work with has taken on the certification for prescribing priviliges and prescribed in the Military. He also can prescribe on Indian Reservations, but he has such a good relationship with MDs that he often calls them and recommends the type of medication.

Treating Anxiety Disorder One Step at a Time

Treating anxiety disorders can be tricky as the very concept of overcoming your fears is scary and turns many off seeking real and long term solutions to their problems and often lead them to seek drugs to solve their problems which do nothing in the long term.

If you are reading this however then I assume you are looking for a real treatment not a sham or something simply to overcome the panic attacks and this is the first step to living a life without fear. Many are too intimidated to even take a first step as disorders relating to anxiety often pose a huge problem that seems too large, scary and insurmountable to tackle and avoiding problems seems easier in the short term and each day you delay in standing up to your problems ingrains them further making it harder and harder to motivate yourself to change.

  5. Hiya Painthiscityblack,

Thanks for sharing your inner feelings.

    You lack confidence.

With it, you will be able to face anything and anyone with a positive air, but without it, you will continue to feed the negativity which says you are worthless.

You are on a merry-go-round of self deprication, and now, having identified your problem, need to do something positive about it.

See a qualified hypnotist, and enjoy a couple of relaxing life changing sessions to become the person you always dreamed of.

    You will be fine.

    Good luck on your journey.
