I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience.  Make sure you reported the theft, especially if there was ID in your bag, and contacted all credit card companies to cancel the cards.  Unfortunately, bad stuff sometimes happens in life, and we can choose to let it weigh us down, or we can use it as a learning opportunity.  Learn from this experience, as sad as it is.  Most likely you know some things now that you didn't know before, and you have a better idea now of how to prevent theft in some situations.    And in the end, there is nothing you can do about the past other than learn from it.
