How do i get passed blocked websites?

i live in the uae and a lot of sites are blocked i've heard of ultra surf but i have a mac and i dont think ultra surf works on it. Can you still watch videos if u use proxies cuz ive been wanting to go to www.surfthechannel.com. how can i get there?

well once i use dis site www.bemyproxy.com it not block in school internet since for two weeks n some1 told tht site can access anywhere n block it so or www.hidemyass.com there have many proxy website u can find
