How do i get past floroma city in Pokemon Pearl?

ive defeated the galactic dude in front of the building, but now there are two of them blocking the bridge. i cant battle them or get past them. i completely stuck. please help.

  2. go to the meadow up left corner and youll battle some galactic dudes then you go back inside the building and battle the commander and team galactic will leave.
