  1. Before you washed them you should have soaked them for about 4 hours in strong salt water then washed on high temp  but it is to late now so keep those pyjama's to wear when you have your next period  I used to wear a tampon and towel when I was on or if you don't use tampons wear two towels one towards front and one towards back

  2. I think if you soak in salt over night , then wash, but don,t leave them for the weekly wash, the blood sets in, soak as soon as you can..hope this is helpful.

  3. Cold salt water.  You could try washing again by hand, & use cold water & bar soap (something basic like Sunlight soap).  Just scrub & rub.  Else, ur jammies are for the trash, I'm sorry.  & don't worry sweetie, I don't think there is anyone who loves having their period ...

PS - & hey guys - why do you feel the need to make ignorant & sarcastic remarks to a young girl who has no choice but to figure this stuff out!

I hope one day that you have daughters & they come to you for advice.  Being a woman is not always fun, clean, easy, predictable, controllable or 'non gross' for the wussbag blokes whose stomachs are so weak they can't take a bit of honest conversation.

    Grow up!

  4. Fill a sink with VERY COLd water, then add then put your garmet in there, soak a pulls out then was on completely cold cycle....

  5. buy a stain devil, just look for the one that says removes blood and you just put it in with your wash

  6. Dont wash it first or it's set...you need to pour Hydrogen Poroxide on it first...scrub it after that then wash it in the machine

  7. Try Milton.  Soak it in.  A few hours or over night ? - it's great for dis coloured clothing too.

  8. gross

  9. Next time soak them in a bucket of salt water

  10. Sorry this happened!! Try pouring hydrogen peroxide on it.  It will bubble. Rinse in cold water (don't use hot water-it will set the stain). Repeat.  It should lighten.  For best results, next time just run under cold water to remove as much as possible. Squeeze out excess water then treat as above.  Don't put them in the dryer until you are satisfied with the results.  The stain will set.  I've also had some further luck with Ivory dish soap removing more of the brown color after rinsing out the peroxide, when it seems applying it that it no longer bubbles.  Peroxide is very inexpensive--99 cents at the 99 cent store.

  11. ewwww

    this question needs some warning!

  12. There is special detergents to get period blood off of cloths, you ask for them when you are at the supermarket

  13. Always soak in cold water to remove the blood first, then wash. Once you have washed in hot water the blood stain is set.

  14. Once you've washed blood stains, they are set. Next time try soaking in a mix of Oxy and Ace bleach before washing.  To be honest, I keep certain undies and bedwear just for that time of the month!

  15. Coco, next time you go to bed with your period stuff some bathroom tissue between your butt cheeks. I do it and it keeps the mess contained.

Spray N Wash dual power for the old stains. Just let it sit a bit longer then launder it.

  16. Stop having your period. It's really gross. Also try a tampon and then you wont have anything to clean up.

  17. if uve already put it in the wash its ruined but right when u see the blood on it then like go to ur bathtub or sink and like rinse it off really well and with soap then wash it and it will come out

  18. wash w/ hot water.

  19. blood comes out best when washed immediatly with cold water.

  20. Soak it in warm water with salt and wash sraight after on 60 temp

  21. Soak in cold water........

  22. try spraying on some stain remover, let the soak in hot water for a while and then scrub/rub them with an cloth or old piece of towel.

The secret is lots of stain remover

  23. you will probably have to buy a stain remover now, as by washing them the stain will have 'set'

in future, soak immediately in COLD salt water, then they will wash fine

  24. I have heard that meat tenderiser is good because it breaks down organic matter.

Also if you hate periods so much why not try yellow tampons, they are good for sunny periods.

    Hope this helps.

  25. You should always put them in cold water to soak. If you wash them in hot water you will still have a stain. Fill a bowl with cold water and salt and soak overnight and rinse next day. Then wash with warm soapy water. Why not get a couple of cheapo pairs for "that time?" Also some inexpensive pants so if they get marked you can bin them. Most chemists sell disposable pants, try those.
