  1. sometimes you have to load the hardware b4 your software and sometimes the other way.. make sure your camera is compatable with your operating system

  2. Plug your card in and look for removable drive in computer or "my computer", depending on what OS you're running.

    (start>>computer/my computer/>>F: removable drive)

If an icon pops up, right click on it and explore.

If no icon pops up, get a USB card reader. Easy and cheap.

Unfortunately built in card readers (what you're using) sometimes refuse to cooperate or just p**p out all together.

  3. Are you sure that is the SD card slot? Because there are plenty..

Maybe the SD card slot broke? Acer is a crappy brand just letting you know..

Besides that, do you have a USB for your camera? It should come with it in the box. Plug it in and it should pop up.

NOTE: You might marked "do not pop up anything" last time and you forgot. So go to 'My Computer' and look through the portable drives.

  4. You don't need to download or buy anything. You know the GB chip you use for your camera? you take it out and insert it in a slot in your computer. You then click MY COMPUTER and then there should be a drive where it says "Camera" or something. You then click on it and then there will be more folders. Click on the folder that says Pics and then you'll see all your pics. Good luck.

EDIT: Open taskbar and there should be an icon that says my computer just in case you don't know
