How do i get power to my sound system?

k so i have two 12" -1200w, two 10" 1000w subs, two and four speakers i also have two 1200w amps that are bridged, and one 1000w amp. i have the amps and speakers hooked up so that the wats all match up and nothing will blow but how do i get enough power into them and still use my car

  2. you need to make sure that you have the proper size wires going to the amps (her is a chart to help http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-9UUt... and you need to upgrade all of the wires in your charging system, if that is not enough you will need to upgrade to a high output alternator, after that you can look into capacitors and extra batteries- if you add a capacitor or battery to your stock charging system before upgrading it, it will just put more strain on it

  4. You might have too much power being drained, so its likely that you'll either need to tone it down with the sound system, or get a bigger alternator, and investing in a capacitor wouldnt hurt either.
