  1. Hi, Im going to be a junior in high school next year and i was in the same boat as you in 7th grade. If you want to be good your going to have to train over the summer however your young so you dont want to overdo it. I would start running and see how you feel. By august try and get to 25 miles a week and if your feeling really strong do as much as 30 a week. Make sure to strech a lot before you run and drink pleanty of water. And have fun with it.

  2. I was in cross country this year and I am in 7th grade. Basically, what you do is run. Start running. Do 1/4 mile 1 day(1 lap around track) and then the next day do a 1/2 mile (2 laps) and the next day 3/4 miles (3 laps) and than finally 1 mile which is 4 laps. Then after you can run a mile without stoping, work on sprints, like 1/2 time around the track. Good luck and happy running! xoxo

  3. run every other day a week in the morning time for about 3-4 miles for your age group. Eat healthy and stay safe.

  4. mileage, pushups, situps, and less junk food

    trust me, this is basics
