How do i get rid of AIM search?

i tried AIM and i hated it. now i have aim search and when i spell something wrong it jumps rate to it and i hate it. plus now its on my internet search bar. can anyone tell me how to get it off? (i already tried going into my control panel and deleting the installment. it didnt work.)

well i dont now what browser type u are using aka firefox internet explorer opra safari

so whatever just click on ur preferences and erase it
