How do i get rid of Firefox's ad block plus?

Question

i only want to block the banner ads, but now it looks like every photo/image is blocked and i have A LOT of red on most web pages.

how do i get rid of it. i tried disabling it and uninstalling it but it doesnt work, seems to make it worse

I would suggest that instead of uninstalling it, you replace the lists that it's using (Preferences, and delete all the lists). I've been using the EasyList set for a while now:

EasyList, EasyElement, and Tracking Filter as well as Adult/Dating adservers, Myspace Junk Filters, and Rickroll Blacklist.

If that doesn't work, you should be able to remove it by going to Tools, Add-ons, selecting ABP, and uninstalling it.

open Firefox,tools,add ons,click the add on's uninstall button

get Remove It Permanently in it's place. remove only what YOU set up to remove

Go to>tools Add-ons and there you can either uninstall or just shut it down
