How do i get rid of a man!

I have already obtained a restraining order against him but he left then came banging at my door threaten to kick it in and if i called the police he would hurt me or even kill me! I can't seem to get rid of him - i do not really want to get him throw in jail but i think i need help.

You don't want to take a chance of him hurting/killing you, call the police, he's clearly in violation of the restraining order.  Get a male relative to stay with you or go to a relatives house for a while until this blows over.  Also i would consider getting a gun and learning how to use it.  Show his a** you mean business and are not taking anymore of his b.s.

Karlos is right (give him the points) Call the police.  What is the good of a restraining order if you don't enforce it.

Do it before someone gets hurts.

Get someone to threaten him most guys when they feel intimidated will back off or just pal around with a buddy of yours who is bigger then him. Then of course there are psycho's who would hurt or injure the guy you are hanging out with, with them there is not much you can do but getting him put in jail.
