For a quick fix you can place a warm wet tea bag over the area or a cotton ball dipped in lemon juice (don't use lemon juice if you have a sensitive skin). Check out http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/ for more info and home remedies.

Tooth paste! It has to be paste though, the gel doesn't work as well. You just put it on and it dries out your pimple. Then to get rid of the redness, dip white bread in milk and put it on the pimple.

First I would pop it. Don't scratch it just put pressure around it. Then clean your face. Then put neosporin on it, or any other anti-bacterial cream for cuts and scratches.

I have found that there's absolutely no way of getting rid of a pimple in just one day. But you can reduce it if you -ouch!- squeeze it (yuck, i know.. and don't do it often because it's not good practice as you are exposing it to bacteria). I know people say that squeezing will cause scarring but my pimples always leave scars anyway, whether i squeeze them or not. Then, apply tea tree oil (which has antibacterial properties) to dry it up and use concealer to hide it the next day. If you're lucky, it won't look so obvious.

Nothing can make a pimple completely disappear in hours. But, you can make it less noticeable by GENTLY popping it, then put some after-shave on it .. which will sting a bit. By tomorrow, most all redness/swelling will have subsided. Apply more after-shave, and when you're ready to go out .. apply a bit of Cover Girl cover up. :)

What we used when I was in college was an ultraviolet light. One of the other students had an ultraviolet light bulb screwed into a goose-neck desk lamp. We'd shine the light on the area of pimples for about 3 - 5 minutes. Everyone in the dorm use to use it. Then, if you had a date, etc., you'd put some type of skin colored powder over the pimple when it dried up. (Good luck in finding an ultraviolet light bulb. Possibly a tanning bed would be the answer today.)
