Question:

How do i get rid of a water mark from Timberland waterproof boots?

I brought a pair of light pink Timberland boots at a jumble sale yesterday for 1.00 pound. They were very dirty but since the 'tongue' of the shoes says Waterproof i thought i would wash them. I have and they've come up like new, the only problem is a small watermark right on the toe!

They're gorgeous boots and i really wanna wear them but the mark is noticeable. Does anyone know how i can get it out? The label inside says "genuine leather and handmade upper"

They're a light/baby pink colour. Very soft to touch and smooth.

Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

  1. Hi my Daughter-in law uses baby wipes on all her timberland boots, and they come up a treat, she has the pink, baby blue, and the tan,and works on all.Hope this helps.

  2. Try wiping the area with a cloth dampened with white vinegar.

  3. If it's a nubuck-type suede outer, you can get some fine sandpaper/glasspaper and rub it in gentle circles over the affected area until the stain's gone.  If you have no sandpaper, use a bit of emery board.
