  1. I had horrible cystic acne on my back all the way to 24 years old. I would never show my back. But that summer I sucked it up on a vacation with my family and baked my bare back at the beach. It cleared it up completely and it has never, ever returned except for an occasional zit. You could try exposing it to sun in your back yard or a pool. I put nothing but salt water on my back.

  2. When washing your back use a loofah, sponge or exfoliant to help remove any dead skin cells that may clog up pores. Use a gentle action and don’t be too harsh otherwise you will end up breaking the skin. You should probably change your shirt twice a day whether you exercise or not to avoid bacteria buildup.Try  http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/ for more info.

  3. 1) Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes and wash.

    2) Make a warm bath with blanch of nettle and rosemary.

    3) Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball and wash it after haif an hour for 15 to 20 days.

  4. Hiya, like your face you need to exfoliate (get rid of dead skin cells) as these can cause clogged pores which lead to the inevitable.

I found the best thing is a netted sponge on a long handle ( or a gentle long handled bath brush & massage daily in the shower with Neutrogena Deep Clean (orange liquid). If you just use medicated products without removing the dead cells then they can't penetrate to get to work.

I live in the UK so the sun thing isn't much of an option - but whilst living in California the sun does help - also a swim in the ocean.

Persevere, it will work. GOOD LUCK

  5. Go back to the dermatologist. They will either give you a topical cream or gel that WILL work better than what is available over-the-counter, or antibiotics, or if your acne is severe enough, try Accutane or laser treatments.
