  1. connect the ith a hose turn on hot tap then turn on cold tap for about 3 seconds release hose tun off cold tap the hot should noew run if not repeatp wmain tap to the hot ta

  2. Can I try to make it a little clearer?!! Usual way is to connect the 2 taps with a hose( you can buy specially designed ones for this purpose),they can be a pig to use and I would suggest you have some towels handy and a friend to help. When the taps are connected open the hot tap a little, then the cold. then open the hot fully and then the cold.Sometimes you can hear the air being dispelled from the pipe and you just wait till you hear the running water sound in the pipes. How long you do it for depends on where the airlock is and how far from the tank,so just listen and you should hear it clear.Just thought, have you replaced two taps with a mixer?

  3. connect cold tap to hot tap ,if you are lucky with a normal garden hose,,turn both taps for approx 3 mins,

  4. I find a more controllable method is to see if you have a hot and cold washing machine tap for your washing machine. If you have isolate both taps and diconnect the hot hose from the tap then disconnect the cold hose from the washing machine and attach it to the hot washing machine tap. Then open the hot washing machine tap followed by a  5 - 10 second opening of the cold washing machine tap. Then open the hot tap on the kitchen sink and hopefully you should have hot water running to the kitchen sink (if not repeat the opening of the cold washing machine tap) As soon as the problem is remedied make sure both of the washing machine taps are isolated and reinstall the hoses and open the washing machine taps back up. It is handy to have a large old towel nearby when you are disconnecting washing machine hoses as they will contain residual water, Hope this helps :-)

  5. To clear an airlock on the hot water can be really simple if you have a monoblock tap in your kitchen.

    1. Remove tap spout (replace small grub s***w that held it)

    2. with the spout removed press the "meaty" party of your palm firmly over the hole where the spout was, making a good seal.

    3. Open hot tap, and then slowly open the cold tap. Open the cold as much as you can with out getting a shower for a minute or so.

    4. turn both taps off

    5. Replace the spout and open the hot tap to try it.

If you don't have a mono block tap the same thing can be done by connect the hot and cold taps together by any means you have to hand

  6. Put your mouth over the hot tap, open the hot tap and blow blow blow.
