How do i get rid of big roaches?

Question

I am terrified of roaches, especially the really big ones...My 2yr old and I just moved into my aunts house. So far I have seen 4 huge roaches. I am terrified of them...I've been there two weeks and i've had several nightmares and i'm even thinking about them at work...i have been sleeping or even at work and i just get the sensation of them crawling on me. Someone please help me get rid of them. I cant live in peace.

I really like Combat's roach killing discs. I also have a 2 year old and these discs cannot be opened by a curious toddler. I do keep them in the dark places in my house, where the roaches like to hide. I have about 8 of the discs throughout my house. After placing them I don't see roaches for quite a while (like 6 months or more), then if I see another roach, I just swap out the discs and then I don't see any again for another 6 or more months.

The big box stores and most hardware stores sell Ortho Home Defense

It's a colorless, odorless liquid you spray yourself around windows, doors, and baseboards. I occasionally see palmetto bugs ( a nice name for roaches ), but they are always toes up when I find them. If you have a bad infestation, call a local exterminator.
