How do i get rid of damp smell that's in my running shoes and football boots?

  1. Use either Arm and Hammer baking powder or any kind of baby powder. Both will dry your shoes out and get rid of the smell!


  2. you CAN put them thru the washer and dryer...but it get's noisey in the dryer :) i wash mine in the wash and blow dry em as much as i can. then i leave them out to dry over night.  i can never get it ALL out (my feet really stink!) but it works really well

  3. Wear higher socks. If your socks are short then the sweat is absorbed in the shoes. If that doesn't work then you should buy some odor-eaters.  

  4. Try leaving them outside in the sun for an hour or two. That's what we do here in the Caribbean.  Not too long, though, or the sun will take the color right out of the shoes.
