How do i get rid of fleas in a cabin?

I live in guerneville with a dog and an iguana. Is there a safe way to get rid of fleas around the house? my dog gets his monthly drops of advantix but the house is infested. I mostly see and feel them when Im on the couch or bed. I dont have carpet at all so its not like i could use vacum tricks. I also love my pets very much and i let them inside. I really dont want to result to a flea bomb but if I do where can I keep my pets from harm? Any suggestions?

All pets and plants out of house. Flea bombs.vaccum everything. wash linens. Absolutely make sure your dog does not have any fleas or flea dirt.
