Salt sprinkled in the carpet will dry them up and kill them I've heard.

You just have to leave the house until the fleas die off. I have tried the water with a spot of dish soap but I put a desk lamp shining over the bowl, the light attacks them and the dish soap won't let them float on the water, it breaks the surface tension and they will sink and drown I have use I have used Bug Stop flea bombs and spray but only slowed them down, The extra peice of flea collar I saved to put in the vacuum so they will die when I vacuum I hope to learn something from this question too, Thanks for asking!

The best over the counter stuff is the RAID FUMINGATORS. This is the ones that are in the little cups and you have to add a little water to them to set them off. They cover the entire room in a fog and go under the cracks/crevices and furniture. Just make sure you cut off your AC and close all windows. Cover or remove fish tanks and other pets before setting off. The box says to keep the treated ares closed off for at least 3 hours. I have done it for 4-5 hours and then come home and open all windows/doors and fan.You may need to do another treatment in a couple of weeks. You can get them in packs of 3 at Walmart in the cleaning section, etc.

Or you can call and exterminator.

i think a flea bomb woudl be your best bet, or maybe even an exterminator. They are hard to get rid of!

leave small dishes of water and dish soap around the house in differnt spots it works idk why is just does
