  1. Sounds like you have a flea infestation.  You need to get a flea bomb.  You may need to get a few of them depending on the size of your house.  I won't scimp on this....do it right the first time.  You need to read on the package to see how many you will need.  Then you gather the cats...and any other pets..they will have to be elsewhere when you do this.  You will set the bomb off....you will need to be away as well.  After awhile you can go back.  However, you should probably put Frontline on the cats....or they will just get fleas all over again.  That can be expensive...I don't know how many cats you have.  Or just get them flea dipped (less expensive) or have them stay outside all the time.

Now around the farm?  Call your local Terminex man...they could spray something maybe a couple times a year.

  2. Advantage works best on cats. It keeps the ones here (even the outdoors ones) flea free for 6 weeks.  The vet has the multi-packs. You dose the cat by weight, so you need to know what they weigh.

  3. Use Advantage or Frontline on them.
