  3. funnybunny,

I think I may have responded to another of your questions with this advice but I have found the chemical free approach of the NitFree brands to be the best that I have found.  They have the best nit comb that there is and their mousse is also great at helping to loosen the nits.

    Good luck

  4. You can use lice shampoos and lotions that are sold over-the-counter or are prescribed. The medicines require you to provide details of your past lice treatments. Avoid experimenting with these medicines, as they are as potent as the insecticides. Do not disregard the doctor’s advice or instructions. Follow the usage instructions on the shampoo or lotion religiously to speed up the treatment. Sometimes you may also have to use hair rinses to untangle hair.

  5. There are a few brands at stores like Wal-Mart, one being called Rid.

That's not all you have to do though. You're talking an overhaul. Vacuuming furniture, washing every single piece of clothing and fabric, and also cleaning out any stuffed toys. Those little buggers cling to practically EVERYTHING.

So get the shampoo from Wal-Mart, you'll also need a good comb and some nails to get the nits (aka eggs) out because those are stuck on the strands of hair pretty good. Start vacuuming and doing the laundry. You practically have to quarantine yourself and your stuff from everything else.

  6. Mix a some manase <--i dont know how to spell i hope u know what i put.

and take some pines-ale "yea the floor cleaner"

u mix both of them together and put it all over ur head make sure its EVERYWHERE ..leave it on for a lil bit then comb the lice out while the stuff is it ur hair..

  7. use lice shampoo from walmart

  8. Is it head lice, or pubic hair lice?

    They're different.

    I only know about #1:

You buy special lice treatment kits at stores, like Rite Aid, Walgrreens, probably any place like that has it.

One of them is called RID.

Basically, you shampoo your hair with this stuff (which kills the lice) letting it sit on your hair for like 15 minutes.

Then you wash that off, AND there's this other shampoo stuff that you put on after that, and then you use the NIT comb to comb the eggs out of your hair.

This is extremely tedious, and that's why some people just shave their hair off.

TIP - do it again in a week, and to be safe, a week after that, because if ANY eggs remain, they keep hatching, and you're back where you started.

Also, throw any combs & brushes you have used away, and get new ones.

And NEVER use anyone elses comb or brush - this is how most people get lice.

I got them from the idiot hair stylist at SuperCuts, who didn't put her combs in the special solution they're supposed to use!

  9. Okay, the quick and easy and cheap solution is hair dye. it is an old camp trick when i was staff cause lice went around like crazy!

the hair dye will kill any lice and its eggs instantly. and then just comb through your hair to make sure to get the dead eggs out.

also lice hate clean hair so for the first few days after make sure daily to wash your hair just so any bugs that are on bedding and clothing wont be attracted to your hair!

    best of luck!

  10. Go to your GP so he can prescribe the best medication for the lice.

    Hope this helps! O:
