  1. I'm assuming you live in a house (if you live in an apt. the apt.mgr. should be the one responsible for rodent control), but the first thing you need to do is seal your house and ensure food/crumbs (especially cereal & cat/dog food) aren't left out. All the mousetraps, pesticides, etc. in the world will not prevent them from coming in. You must do a thorough inspection of your house, basement, & crawlspace for holes leading to the outside. No matter how small the hole is, seal it up. A small deer mouse can fit through a hole/crack smaller than a dime. I've found the best stuff to use is epoxy putty, mortar mix, or steel wool (depending on the size of the hole and the surface around it). I would stay away from caulk and the foam spray stuff as I've seen mice chew through them both. Inspecting your house may be easier if you have another person looking on the outside when it's dusk/dark outside to look for light leaking from your house. Once that's done, set traps. What type is really a personal choice as they all work well. If you use snap traps be sure to wear gloves when handling dead mice. Same goes for cleaning up droppings. Mouse droppings can cause some nasty diseases, namely hantavirus. Also, don't waste money on those ultrasonic repellents. They may work for a while, but mice can develop an immunity to the sound. There's also a number of online resources on tips for mice (see links below). Lastly, I don't recommend using bait that kills them. If a mouse eats it then gets inside your wall & dies, it can stink for quite some time unless you remove that section of wall to get to it.

  2. get mice traps with cheese on them

  3. I have my house sprayed inside and out on a program that I'm on with Pest Control and it takes care of mice and I also have a cat. I'm not sure what these things are called but you plug them into your electrical outlet in your house and it makes a sound that drives them away. Humans and house pets can't hear it but the mice hate it. They also make battery operated sticks that do the same thing for your yard if you have moles. They also have one for spiders. Maybe you could Google something and see if you can find out what the device is. It looks like a white box about the size of a deck of cards and it plugs into the wall outlet. Mice can be a big problem very quickly so you want to stop them from coming in period. Killing them and setting bait doesn't work and sometimes end up with more of a hassel than anything.  I'm talking as if I went through this experience when actually I've never had to deal with mice. I've just heard of some things you can do and I watched a crazy show about mice on the Discovery channel.

  4. no dude.. dont get cats....lol. call pest control!

  5. Mice are cute but anyway I would use a mouse trap HUMANE one and take the little buggers long long way away or You can let them go into some other person place that you don't like.I would also get a kitty cat they love to play with meeses and kill the little creatures. Also You could use a bait wich is very nasty way to die (for meeses) as it's a nasty poison wich makes them bleed to death inside thier little tummys.Very yucky also is very dangerous if You have any other animals beware of RATSACK and Other POISONS).Or You can feed them and be nice to them give them some bread and a teeny little water dish (how Cute) So with all this wonderful lecture I hope I have helped You out.Just be careful they don't run up Your leg and bite You!!!

  6. NO cats are freaks......No offence i just hate them.. Buy some mouse traps...They work wonders..I know they seem mean but oh well **** happens..  Or mouse bait. That works good 2.  Maybe even a bit of both. If u do put mouse bait then make sure no animals or little kiddies can get any sort of access to it cause it will make them very sick

  7. I hate to disagree with everyone else but I have recently had a giant problem with mice in my home and I tried everything. I tried several diferent types of traps like traditional types, live traps and I have tried poisen but then you end up with dead mice all over your house sometimes in places you can't reach and they stink after they die.  In the end I didn't buy a cat or get one prmanently I just borrowed on from a friend that is a good mouser. Do it quick though as they breed very fast and before you know it your house will be over run with them. In the first two days the cat was here she caught 10 mice. I didn't even think there were that many in my house but I guess that where there is one.....

  8. If you like cats then get one. They will help with controling the mice.

But before you do get some bait and just leave it out.

    that should kill them off.

Once you don't find anymore dead mice around remove the bait and get a cat.

but only get a cat to stop them from coming back.

only put bait out if you don't have any animals. If you do then use traps.

  9. a HUMANE mouse trap

  10. Borrow a friends cat thats a good mouser.. Then start looking around your cupboards and getting rid of anything in cardboard boxes.  Start storing you panty items in GLASS or PLASTIC!  Remove items from you countertops and give the entire kitchen a good wipe down.... With a disenfectant.. Mice HATE strong smells like peppermint oil or even highly scented dryer sheets... .So get some peppermint essential oils from the craft store and some cottonballs and store in you kitchen cupboards.... Put dryer sheets in your drawers and other places you've found droppings.... If you have a basement get some sticky traps and put them along the baseboards where mice like to travel... Store items like clothing, furs, anything soft in plastic containers... You can also use the essential oil in crawl spaces and attics.... Take out garbage and pick up pet food/water dishes.....

    Good luck!

  11. Get snakes, they work better than cats.

J/k..call pest control or you can buy your own mouse traps or the sticky things that smell like peanut butter...Id rather call pest control because I refuse to touch the things...Good luck on getting rid of them though.

  12. mouse traps

  13. You want the creative answer? Get a snake! Seriously, you can buy stuff at the supermarket to put down away from kids or pets  (say inside a cupboard, behind the fridge or something), you can buy humane mouse traps, or you could just call in a pest control company who will come out and fix your place up.
