  1. your dogs not alone

    mine has the same problem

she has sand fleas from the sand we put under the pool

alot of people said frontline works

if u do find a cure please email me

my baby has scabs everwhere and can even play or sleep nemore cuz of the itching

  2. I read somewhere that you can mix a small concentration of white vinegar with a dogs drinking water. Your dog won't be able to taste the difference and the fleas won't want to live on him anymore. (because of the vinegar doing something to the skin or something?) Sorry I'm a bit vague lol just can't remember what was said, it was ages ago.

Apparently you won't be able to tell the difference on your dogs coat but the fleas will and they will move on to another place/dog etc...

then just regularly clean your house, vacuuming everyday and washing bedding etc, the average lifespan of a flea is 9 days so you should be rid of them in no time (fingers crossed!)

    Hope I helped.

  3. First you need to know that they the fleas are probably in your carpet, and will re infest the dog always. You need to treat your carpet and yard and the dog at the same time. Use one that is for flea eggs to, or they will just hatch out and be back on the dog and you to. Treating all three is the only way to get them gone for good, or they will just keep laying their eggs and coming back.

  4. my friends dog had the some problem until he moved to Arizona. after that he never got another one

  5. Frontline plus..works great.

  6. C a vit.

  7. its because there in ur carpet or anything else they can hide in and when u wash and animal all fleas dont exactlly go away. someone them are still deep in there and not to mention the eggs that havent hatched yet and its just gross but all i can say is by a flea collar and get some sord of flea liquid cleaner im not sure what its called but it comes in a small thing that looks like a toothpaste bottle or whatever

  8. I suggest either seeing a vet about the problem or getting medicine from the supermarkets.

Frontline Plus is quite good, try a flea collar, but beware, he may scratch at it and also lose fur. Or there are certain medicines that you put in his food, or on his fur.

Its a common problem along dogs, like mine, sadly.

After you get rid of the flea on his body, also vaccumm clean and wash his bed sheets, crates, bowls and toys, vacuum the house if he goes indoors alot, wash sheets in your bedroom or house, and try cut the grass so its short and trimed so there arn't places for fleas to lurk and jump in his fur.

Groom him often and bath him often and i hope it gets rid of the fleas and they never come back!~

  9. Don't get them off. They will get on you. That's what your dog is for.

  10. Use Frontline or Revolution to kill the fleas and the eggs. I have my cats on Revolution during flea season.

You need to clean your house. Fleas may have jumped off your dog and into your carpet, his bedding, etc. That's another way that causes him to keep getting them.

There are powders that you can pre-treat your carpet with before vacuuming. Once you're done vacuuming, dispose of the bag (or contents) immediately -- out of the house, not just in the garbage can. I read a tip about putting a flea collar into your vacuum bag before vacuuming... if you have a bag on your vacuum.

Wash his bedding, and any other porous areas where he likes to hang out.

  11. Go to your vet and purchase Frontline plus, or a similar flea product.
