  1. You have a Yahoo ID that gives you access to many free Yahoo services like Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Answers, and Yahoo! 360. The "ask & answer yahoo thing" is Yahoo! Answers. Really the only way to obliterate your online presence through these services (with the exception of resolved Y/A questions) is to delete your entire Yahoo account.

A better way to handle this is to delete all open questions that you have on Yahoo! Answers and never visit the site again. Click on your avatar on the far left corner of most Yahoo Answers pages OR click on the "My Profile" link on the far, upper right corner of the page. This takes you to your Y/A profile page.

Scroll down to the bottom and you will see tabs. The "My Questions" tab shows questions you've asked. Clicking actual question link will take you to the question, where you can click on the pencil icon to choose the delete option.

In that Y/A profile, you can click on that "Edit My Info" link and put some dashes for your Y/A name.

As for Yahoo! 360, remove all content and information that you've added to your 360 space. Make all your settings (basic info, blog, communication, and every module on your "My Page") set to "Friends" or "Just Me (Private)".  The "Just Me (Private)" setting is preferred, but if you don't have that option choose "Friends." Delete all your friends (see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/fri... ). Change the background back to the default version - either called the "custom" or "classic" theme. Then, that's it.

  2. go to Account Deletion page.
