How do i get rid of nats? their eating my moms plants!?

They may be fungus gnats.  if so, you're watering too much.  Try to water only when the soil is dry for an inch from the surface.  This will greatly reduce their numbers.  You can also use pebbles or sand as a decorative mulch to prevent their access to the wet soil.  It worked for me.

Try Sevin.  You can buy it online or in different stores depending on where you live.  It has a bad smell but it works on all insects.

Before you use chemicals  try washing the plants with soap and water.  This will eliminate many types of gnats.
