my kitchen has a recent invasion of little flying gnats all over.

• i have no food products out, including fresh fruit. everything is put away in the fridge, cupboard, bread box or canisters.

• my kitchen is clean, there are no dishes piled up, no nasty garbage spilling out.

• they seem to center near the sink, although i have cleaned it and the drain repeatedly.

i there anything else i can do? any particular products i can use to keep them away? these little beasties really *bug* me.

  1. In your kitchen drain there is residue called "drain snot"....yucky but true....and flies and gnats can lay their larvae within the "snot" in your drain.  Use some Liquid Plumber or Drano to clear out the drains in your kitchen.  Should help.

  2. Something like spoiled fruit must have attracted them, you need to find the source then spray well, cover any food.

  3. Try some bleach, I had fruit flies from a forgotten fruit and I bleached, and they were gone

    good luck !!
