  1. Both my teenage sons suffered with spots, and even after spending a fotune on expensive remedies they both found that good old SODOCREM worked the best. So I went from buying it for their bums as babies to buying it for their face as adults. Give it a go good luck !!

  2. hello there you have the same problem as me. First of all you would need to make an appointment and  talk to your Gp and ask him or her to prescribe you antibiotics  or a topical lotion and  if the problem  persists  ask for a refferal to a dermatologist on the NHS .

As a beautician my self and a consultant I would reccommend that you follow   a daily care skin care  routine. I would  recommend that  you  use a  facial cleansing gel  to remove surface dirt and poluutants   and after that you use a toner  do this twice a day morning and night .

The toner neutralises the ph levels of your skin and helps to keep skin clean and fresh do this after you have cleansed your skin .

Cleanse your skin with  the appropriate facial wash. I would reccommend as a facial wash Clarins purifying cleansing gel which is designed for your skin problem. The toner i would reccommend is a product called clean and clear deep cleansing lotion it acts as a cleanser and aa toner; but is is mostly good as a toner  it contians an oil figiting formula and helps prevent spots.

After you have toned the skin I would reccommend you moisturise  your skin using Clarins ultra matte rebalancing Lotion .

You also need as part of your skin care routine to  use a deep cleansing face mask and an exfoliator do this once a week.

I would reccommend you  use  the  gentle exfoliating refiner as well for removing dead skin cells and black heads (comodones )  and debris on the skin .

Then after that you you rinse off the exfoliaitor and  use Clarins pure radiant mask to deep cleanse and radiate the skin leave the mask on for 10-15mins (follow manufactrers instructions)  Clarins pure radiant  face mask s a pink clay mask .after that yoyu rinse off the mask  after 10-15mins then tone the skin with the suggested toner and then moisturise you skin.

Also on a daily basis to help neurtralise red spots and blemishes I would reccommend you use the clinique anti blemish solution clear blemish gel which is a transparent gel designed to deal with anti imperfections like spots and blemishes it contains an sos formula and acts immediately .Use ful for those emergencies or when you are on the move .

To help your condtion and problem . Always Follow the Gps advice and medication they give you. By all means to help you further I would reccommend you use these products  and the skin care routine I suggested  as well to help as this will be useflul  and will also help to improve and maintian  the condition of your skin and help with the spots .

( With products I have suggested  always remember to follow the manufacturers instructions and advice as well)

Hope this helps if you have any further queries or questions do not hesitate to contact me at beautyfashionworld@googlemail.com

  3. spots? on ur face?clothes? legs arms? where?it depends

  4. Sudocrem! A small pot which only costs around three pounds and can last upto 2 years x

  5. use bleach

  6. Using kitchen foods actually helps.

Mix half a tablespoon (a really small amount) of milk with nutmeg. Put the nutmeg into the milk and stir it with the spoon until it reaches a thin paste consistency. Then apply the mixture onto your spots for several minutes.

Slices of bananas also help. I suggest using bananas and strawberries mixed. Cut them up into very small bits, whirl them around (with a mixer or a fork) in a bowl and then apply onto your pimples.

Onions or garlic also work, though they are a stinky last resort. Cut slices of either and leave on your problem spots (as you would do with cucumbers to your eyes - lie down and rest while having them on your face).

Baking soda mixed with a tiny bit of water also helps. The same way with the nutmeg and milk, mix them together until it comes to a thin paste/lotion type material, then apply to your spots.

Salted water also helps. Put a little bit of salt in a little bit of water and then put onto your pimples. A little, not a lot of salt. A lot will cause them to bleed, trust me, I've had it happen and it just makes matters worse.

Drink lots of water, at least 5 or 6 glasses, a day. This will clear out any overproduction of oil in your body. Also, stay away from oily/greasy/fried foods and foods high in fat, such as pizza, Chinese takeout, chips, all that fatty stuff.

Use a very little bit of toothpaste on your pimples at night and allow it to dry before wiping it off - I've even fallen asleep with it on and then taken it off in the morning and my pimple was almost gone. NO tooth gel, just toothpaste. Aloe vera lotions/gels also help with redness and soothing a pimple.

If you have had acne for a long period of time, go to a dermatologist and ask what kind of treatment is right for you. Creams such as Clearasil or Proactiv are good for longterm acne, but tend not to work as well for short term acne.

Most importantly, KEEP YOUR GREASY HANDS OFF OF YOUR FACE. Don't touch, pick or pop your pimples, it just worsens their conditions and makes the bacteria travel to other parts of your face, causing even more pimples. If you do touch your face to wash it or put a treatment on, wash your hands first and use antibacterial soap to eliminate any dirt or grease. Keep your hair off of your face, as hair is also dirty and is often the cause of acne around the forehead/cheeks because the oils from the hair go into the skin.

If you just cannot get rid of it, I recommend waiting it out and just washing your face a couple times a day. The problem if you can't get rid of it must be the overproduction of oil and hormones, and there's nothing much you can do about it. Everyone has acne in their life and people don't care if you have it, they're too busy worrying about themselves!

  7. Best thing you can do if its worrying you is go talk to your doc about it, there are a few things they can prescribe to you, low dose antibiotics for 1, and they can urge you to go onto the contraceptic pill as well as this levels out the hormones in women.  If none of those work then talk to him about going on roaccutane.

If you are looking for creams and face washes, then make sure they have benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid in them as these have been found to help with acne.

  8. Dab with toothpaste before bed - serious - it works - the toothpaste has a cooling effect and stops the reddening - it also reduces the swelling.

This came from a GP - but use a good quality toothpaste

  9. Tea tree preparations are very good for spots also witch hazel. Both have anti bacterial and astringent properties and are natural products. Worth a try.
