How do i get rid of the annoying search assistant thing on the yahoo page?

I want to get rid of the annoying search assistant thing that pops up on the yahoo page even after selecting off...how can I stop it? Or is my only answer to start using google instead?

do you mean the search web box?

if not its probably a toolbar that you have
