  1. try using some extra strength orajel and eat things that are room temperature. anything that is too cold will make the pain come back and anything hot will also irritate it.

  2. It sounds like your tooth is infected.  I know how you feel, I had it several times before...an unbearable, sharp, stabbing pain.  Unfortunately, there isn't a lot you can do.  You need to go to a dentist and get antibiotics as soon as possible.  You can try taking Ibuprofen.  And get Orajel, it's this gel stuff you can put on the gum around your tooth, it will numb it and maybe give you at least a little bit of relief.  It won't last that long, just long enough so that you can eat.  Also, if it's bad enough it will get to a point where NOTHING will work on the pain.  The nerve is inflamed and infected, and the pain is coming from INSIDE your tooth.

Go to a dentist on an emergency visit.  You don't need to make an appointment.  Just walk in and tell them you're in horrible pain and they will see you.  If you have an abscessed tooth, you need to start taking antibiotics right now...you have to get rid of the infection.  Pain killers won't really work until you get rid of the infection first.

The bad news is that you might need to get a root canal done on that tooth.  You don't have to worry about that right now, the main thing is just getting rid of the infection.  But that's something you need to keep in mind in the near future.  Once you get rid of the infection, the pain will go away.  But only for a while.  You'll probably have the same problem again later on.  Most dentists will try to help you and work with you on a payment plan to get a root canal and crown done if that's what you need.

  3. get an emergent  appt  or seek for another dental clinic.

  4. Tie it to a doorknob and slam the door.

  5. Ahhh, molers are big teeth that aren't busting through a hole that's already in your gums, like other teeth. They have to break your strong gums. Also, to soothe the pain, take tylenol or orajel.
