  1. try practicing a lot. Get your confidence level up! Know all your songs like the back of your hand. My teacher told me something that really helped: LOVE WHAT YOU DO! don't be hard on yourself when you practice, just remember that music is important to you!

  2. You may feel pressured because of competition, which is great! If you have competition you should feel motivated to further yourself in your music. Practice your music and marching, help underclassmen, and I think the pressure will go away.

  3. most of my seniors want their senior year to be the absolute best. but you see things much differently now than when you were a freshman. you know what it takes to be excellent, you see others slacking off a bit instead of giving everything they have & you get pissed,..

    you are scared? just remember that fear is an acronym;

    false

    evidence

    appearing

    real

    first and foremost- a band must compete with itself! you must improve your skills every day, get your show better every day, the underclassmen look to the seniors to set the right attitude of success for the group. use your nervous energy to inspire the group to do their best, then to do better than they ever thought they could!

  4. well maybe because ur nerves that you wont do as well at the compations in ur last year. all the seiners in my band feel the same way.
