How do i get rid of this...?

Okay, so i have a HUGEASS bee hive attacked to a tree in my front yard. im guess it can house hundreds of bees (i dont really know), it is about the size of a watermelon. obviously i want to get rid of it...any suggestions on how? or should i just call on the pros?

  1. If it's attached to a tree, it's probably a nest of wasps or hornets.  I'd suggest calling a pro.  Wasps and hornets aren't polite to people trying to get rid of their homes.


  2. put up a fake bee hive and put up bee traps made out of 2 Litre pop bottles with a bit of pop left on the bottom.

  3. I agree with Mom. Something that large won't allow you to kill all of them easily and the number of potential stings you could receive could actually be fatal.

  4. Call the pros, it's way too big.

  5. a hefty bag should do the trick  

  6. Call a beekeeper. They take the queen and the rest of the bees go away. Then you can remove the hive safely.
